In accordance with Pennsylvania laws, WYB requires that all volunteer personnel “inside the fences” (managers, assistant coaches, etc.) pass a background check in order to participate as a volunteer in the organization.   Each manager and coach must have clearances completed and on file with the WYB Council before being issued a lanyard which is REQUIRED to be inside the fences for any practice, game or team function.  

The following clearance certificates are needed and are FREE if applying as a volunteer:

PA Criminal Record Clearance
PA Child Abuse History Clearance
FBI Fingerprint Clearance (If volunteer has not lived in PA for the last 10 years consecutively)
WYB Volunteer Affadavit (if you have lived in PA for the past 10 years consecutively)
